Lyons (Sligo)
The representatives of Henry Lyons, a Sligo merchant, were the owners of over 1400 acres in county Sligo in the 1870s. Property at Carrowkeel, barony of Corran, sold in the Landed Estates Court in April 1872 included Henry Lyons as an assignee of William Tute. In 1906 Alexander Lyons owned over 60 acres of untenanted land at Rahaberna, barony of Carbury. In 1914 an offer on over 400 acres was accepted from the Congested Districts Board.
