| Description | Athenry House was built in the late 18th century. In 1837 it was the seat of J. Lopdell. It was offered for sale in the Landed Estates court in November 1876 as part of the estate of Wm. Vesey Fitzgerald Hickman. Part of the original house is no longer extant and construction work has taken place in the area. |
