Tennant
The Tennant family [from Kirkcubridshire] bought the Jacob estate of Mobarnan in the 1850s. In the 1870s David and John Tennant of Mobornane owned 1,875 acres and 380 acres respectively in county Tipperary, while William Tennant of Ballinard owned 176 acres.
