Harrison (Castle Harrison)
This family was residing at Castle Harrison, Charleville, county Cork, from at least the mid 18th century. The Harrisons intermarried with the O'Gradys of Kilballyowen, county Limerick and the Grady/O'Gradys of Elton, county Limerick. In the mid 19th century the estate of Standish Henry Harrison was located in the parishes of Aglishdrinagh, Ballyhay and Rathgoggan, barony of Orrery and Kilmore, county Cork. In the 1870s his estate amounted to 2,431 acres in county Cork.
