Neligan
William John Neligan, a Tralee solicitor, acted as agent for several large estates in county Kerry. In the 1870s he was the owner of over 1000 acres in the county. He was married to Dorothea second daughter of Richard Chute of Chute Hall, county Kerry. Their eldest son was Sir John Chute Neligan of the Spa, Tralee, a prominent lawyer of the time.
