Jermyn
William Jermyn was one of the principal lessors in the parish of Kilcrohane, barony of Dunkerron South, at the time of Griffith’s Valuation. Thomas Jermyn, Liss Cottage, Sneem, owned over 200 acres in county Kerry in the 1870s. An offer was made by the Congested Districts Board on over 200 acres of the Jermyn estate in 1909. Sophie [Germaine] Jermyn was among the principal lessors in the parish of Aghadown, barony of West Carbery, county Cork, in 1853. Mrs. Griffith Jermyn is recorded as the lessor of townlands in the parish of Skull at the same time.
