Ross In 1786 Wilson refers to Ross as the seat of Mr. Martin, It was held in fee by James Martin at the time of Griffith's Valuation, when it was valued at £20. On the shore of Ross Lake, the childhood home of the author, Violet Florence Martin is now open to the public for part of the year.
