Mayne Rectory was leased by Reverend William Eames from the estate of Reverend Thomas Smith at the time of Griffiths Valuation when it was valued at £8. In 1839, the Valuation Office books recorded that it was occupied by Reverend Richard Handy and had a valuation of almost £9. The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage suggests it was built c.1812. It is still extant and in use.
