Description Lislea House was leased by Elizabeth Bickerstaff from the Smyth estate at the time of Griffiths Valuation in the early 1850s, when it was valued at £12. In 1837 Lewis noted it as the seat of J.C. Bickerstaff. It is still extant. Datestones on the estate buildings suggest two phases of development at the site, in the 1820s and the 1860s. Elizabeth Bickerstaff was the owner of over 350 acres in County Longford in the 1870s
