Description | Built circa 1841 by Rev Marcus Gervais Beresford, later Archbishop of Armagh, close to the site of the former Drung Parsonage. The house served as the parish rectory until 1870 when it was sold to the Rev Charles Leslie, cousin of the Glaslough Leslies. In 1906, it was occupied by Captain C.R. Leslie and had a rateable valuation of£39. It remained a Leslie family home until 1972. Bought by the Elliott family in 2003 who have been renovating the house and gardens. |
