Description In 1814 ‘Dromkeen’ was the home of Robert Sanderson. Bence Jones writes that this was an early 19th century two storey house. The Ordnance Field Name Book states that it Kilbee resided 'in the old family mansion of Drumkeen house’. It was held in fee, valued at £30 and occupied by Colonel Alexander Saunderson in the mid-19th century. In 1901, it was occupied by Arthur Trench, in 1906 by Lucas Clements when its rateable valuation had risen to £55 and in 1911 by Agnes Jane Clements and her daughter. Bought by the Loreto nuns in 1930, the building has since been altered.
