John Faucett was leasing this property to Francis Faucett at the time of Griffith’s Valuation, when it was valued at £13. The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage suggests the earliest part of the house may date from the mid-18th century and that it was associated with both the Faucett/Fawcett and Tredennick families in the 19th century
