| Description | In 1840 the Ordnance Survey Name Books record Riversfield as " a neat house, the residence of Mr. John Ardill". He was leasing it and the adjoining mills from Mrs.Otway Cave's estate at the time of Griffith's Valuation, when the buildings were valued at £17+. A house and farm buildings are still extant at the site. |
