Description |
The home of a branch of the Lalor family in the 19th century. Thomas E. Lalor is recorded for Creg in 1814 and Lewis writes in 1837 of his handsome residence erected "about ten years since". Cregg was occupied by his son Thomas in the early 1850s. Thomas held the property from the Marquess of Ormonde and the buildings were valued at almost £40. Passed to the Sadlier family of Castleblake, county Tipperary at the end of the 19th century. In 1906 it was valued at £41 and occupied by Annie Sadlier. This house is still a fine residence. |
