Description | A Nash home in the first half of the 19th century, occupied by Christopher Nash at the time of Griffith's Valuation and held from John James Nugent. The buildings were valued at £7. In the 1940s the Irish Tourist Association Survey noted that this property had once belonged to a family called Badham but was afterwards acquired by the Nashs and that "the present house was probably built by the latter family". A house and substantial farm are still extant at Rockfield. |
