The house at this site is labelled Russagh Cottage on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map but as Rosebank on the 25-inch map of the 1890s.The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage states that the current house was built by the O'Donovan family in the 1860s as a dower house for Liss Ard House nearby. It is still extant and occupied. |
