Lewis records it as the seat of Capain Godfrey in 1837. The Ordnance Survey Name Books record it as the residence of Arthur Saunders c.1840. Bary states that this house was frequently occupied by the Godfrey family. The ruins are close to the Gleneagles hotel. |
