Dominic Nugent of Mountprospect, parish of Castlerahan, county Cavan, had a son Thomas who was almost a hundred years old when he died in 1840. His estate passed to the Dempsey family. Richard Dempsey occupied the house at the time of Griffith’s Valuation and died in 1877. |
