In 1870, at St Stephen's Church, Dublin, George Nugent, fourth son of the Reverend Edmond Nugent of Charleville, county Dublin, married Elizabeth, youngest daughter of Thomas Ravenscroft Whitty of Ricketstown House, county Carlow, http://www.limerickcity.ie/media/Owen,%20Unthank.pdf In 1876, George Nugent of Greenville is recorded as the owner of 400 acres in the county.
