William Goggin of Mary Street, Limerick, printer and bookseller, married as his second wife, Susanna eldest daughter of John Morgan of Dunmoylan and his wife Mary Hodges. He died in 1808. [His sons] George Morgan Goggin and Edward Hodges Goggin of Green Park, county Limerick, held 3 townlands in the parish of Kilfergus, barony of Shanid, county Limerick, at the time of the first Ordnance Survey and of Griffith's Valuation. Christiana Taylor is included with them in Griffith's Valuation. In June 1852 her interest in 1,400 acres in the parishes of Kilfergus and Abington, county Limerick, was advertised for sale. In the 1870s William A Goggin, of Eastwood, Glin owned 952 acres and William B. Goggin of Burtonhill, Limerick owned 932 acres in the county. A divided moiety of 950 acres in the barony of Shanid, county Limerick, the estate of William and George Goggin, was advertised for sale in November 1884.
