Taylor (Kilfergus)
Christiana Taylor held an estate in the parishes of Kilfergus, barony of Shanid and Abington, barony of Owneybeg, county Limerick in the mid 19th century. At the time of Griffith's Valuation she is recorded as holding land in association with Edmund [Edward] Hodges Goggin and George Morgan Goggin in the parishes of Kilfergus and Abington. In June 1852 her estate of 1,400 acres was advertised for sale. The Freeman's Journal reported in December 1852 that the purchaser was Henry Hutton. The representatives of a Mrs G.W. Taylor also held land in the parish of Abington at this time. The immediate lessor of Burtonhill close to Limerick city was a Mrs Taylor, the house was occupied by Edward Hodges Goggin.
