Cottingham
At the time of Griffith's Valuation George Cottingham and Anne Regan and Mrs William Regan held the townlands of Rusheeny in the parish of Kilcummin and Derrynea in the parish of Killannin, barony of Moycullen, county Galway, with the attached salmon fishery. In 1814 a George Cottingham was residing at Sally Hill in the Oughterard area of county Galway. In the 1870s George Cottingham of Annakeelaun, parish of Kilcummin, owned 1,140 acres in county Galway.
