Armstrong (Hollymount)
The property at Hollymount seems to have been leased by the Algeo family to the Armstrongs sometime in the early 19th century. In 1829 Simon Armstrong served as High Sheriff of Leitrim. General James Armstrong, of Hollymount, was a member of the Grand Jury for Leitrim in 1851. Simon Armstrong of Springvilla was the owner of over 250 acres in county Leitrim in the 1870s.
