Duckworth
William Duckworth held an estate at Erris close to Boyle at the time of Griffith's Valuation which he was leasing from Viscount Lorton's estate. A Mrs. Duckworth is recorded as being the owner of over 700 acres in county Leitrim in the 1870s. An offer was accepted from the Congested Districts Board for over 700 acres of the Duckworth estate in Leitrim in 1913.
