Digby (Westmeath)

Benjamin Digby was an immediate lessor in the parishes of Ballymorin, Piercetown and Rathconrath, County Westmeath at the time of Griffith’s Valuation (publ. 1854) while Kenelm Henry Digby had land in the parish of Rahugh and .Drumraney, barony of Kilkenny West . In the mid-1870s Benjamin W Digby of Ballincurra owned 600 acres in the county while Kenelm H Digby of 15, Nassau Street, Dublin owned 387 acres with 2,345 acres in County Kildare and 843 in County Sligo. Kenelm J Digby of Tunbridge Wells owned 791 acres in County Westmeath.
