Creaghe (Castlepark)

Richard Creaghe was living at Castlepark, barony of Clanwilliam, county Tipperary, in the early 19th century. William Tinsley, the architect, remodelled a house at Golden for Richard Creaghe in the early 1840s which was probably Castlepark. At the time of Griffith's Valuation both Richard and Laurence Creagh held land in the parish of Relickmurry and Athassel. Richard Creagh also held land in the parish of Kilgrant, barony of Iffa and Offa East. In the 1870s Richard Creagh of Millbrook, Clonmel, owned 453 acres in county Tipperary.
