Gash
At the time of Griffith's Valuation, Thomas Gash was among the principal lessors in the parish of Kineigh, barony of East Carbery. In the 1870s he was the proprietor of over 1300 acres in county Cork while Masculine Gash was recorded as the owner of over 900 acres.
