Monckton
This family descend from Nicholas Monckton who was clerk to the Limerick market in 1618. By the beginning of the 18th century this family held land in the Ballingarry locality of county Limerick and intermarried with such families as the Odells. Liskennet and Kilmore, which they leased to the Tuthill family, were their main residences.
