Bennett (Gleneefy)

William Blacker Bennett died at Castle Creagh, Galbally, county Limerick in 1808. In 1826 Fitzgerald refers to Castle Creagh "a very handsome seat of the Bennet family, now in ruins". George L. Bennett held townlands in the parishes of Ballingarry and Galbally, barony of Coshlea, county Limerick in the early 1850s. In the 1870s George L. Bennett of Glenefy, Galbally, owned 656 acres in county Limerick.
