Foley (Kilrush)
Peter Foley of Kilrush, county Clare, held over 700 acres in the parishes of Kilfenora, barony of Corcomroe and Killimer, barony of Clonderalaw, county Clare. In the 1870s the representatives of Patrick Foley of Kilrush owned 1,015 acres in county Clare. In the early 1870s Doctor William Foley of Kilrush, county Clare, owned 2159 acres in county Mayo, which was bought by the Congested Districts' Board in July 1906.
