McMahon (Knockane)

At the time of Griffith's Valuation the representatives of John McMahon held land in the parishes of Clonloghan and Kilconry, barony of Bunratty Lower, county Clare. In November 1857 the sale of lands in these two parishes the estate of Thomas MacMahon of Knockane were advertised. Members of the MacMahon family are buried at Kilmaleery Church, Newmarket on Fergus.
