Ringrose (Moynoe)
In 1705 and 1713 John Ringrose of Moynoe, barony of Tulla Upper, county Clare, bought lands in the barony of Tulla from the sale of the estate of Charles Boyle, 3rd Earl of Cork. His sisters married Thomas Croasdaile of Cloghstoken, county Galway and James Moloney of Kiltannon, county Clare. John Ringrose was Sheriff of county Clare in 1722 and married Jane Purdon. Their only son died childless in 1746 and their daughters married Francis Drew and John Bowerman.
