Seymour
Reverend Donnellan Bolingbroke Seymour was born in Dover, England. He was the son of Colonel Eyre Seymour of Lisnacody, Eyrecourt, county Galway and Catherine Bolingbroke of Old Castle, county Mayo. In the early 1850s Reverend D.B.Seymour bought part of the Bolingbroke estate in the parish of Meelick, barony of Gallen, county Mayo. He was the petitioner for the sale of the estate. In 1876 he held 1190 acres in county Mayo and was living in Athlone. By March 1916 the Seymours had accepted an offer from the Congested Districts' Board for the purchase of their estate.
