Peate/Peet
Francis Peet of Ballybrannagh, Tralee, owned over 600 acres in county Kerry in the 1870s. The Ordnance Survey Name Books record that he was leasing property in Currans parish from the Herbert (Cahernane) estate c.1840. In July 1889 property at Arabella, owned by Hastings Fitzgerald Peet was offered for sale in the Land Judges' Court. Property in county Kerry owned by Francis Cope Peet was offered for sale in the Land Judge's Court in April 1886.
