Newton (Iveragh)
Francis Newton was one of the principal lessors in the parish of Glanbehy, barony of Iveragh, at the time of Griffith's Valuation. Members of the Newton family are recorded as proprietors in the parish of Ballinvoher, barony of Corkaguiny, by the Ordnance Survey Name books in the 1830s.
