Connellan
Hussey de Burgh records Peter Connellan as the owner of over 600 acres in county Galway in the 1870s as well as over 2000 acres at Coolmore, county Kilkenny. At the time of Griffith's Valuation, Corry Connellan was the lessor of over 100 acres in the parish of Abbeygormacan, barony of Leitrim, county Galway. The Connellan association with county Galway may have been through an earlier marriage between Anne Connellan and Pierce Blake of Holly Park, Loughrea.
