More O'Ferrall
The More O'Ferralls inherited an estate in the parishes of Bekan, Annagh and Aghamore in the barony of Costello, county Mayo, through a marriage with the O'Reilly family of Kildangan Castle, county Kildare. In 1878 Edward More O'Farrell held 4086 acres in county Mayo, 1354 acres in county Kildare and 2598 acres in county Meath. The county Mayo estate was sold to the Congested Districts' Board on 13 Jan 1916.
