Kirkwood (Boyle)
The Kirkwood family were landowners in the barony of Boyle during the nineteenth century. Andrew and Thomas Kirkwood held over 800 acres in county Roscommon in the 1870s. Land owned by Andrew S. Kirkwood in county Roscommon was offered for sale in the Land Judges' Court in December 1891.
