Macready (Galway)
Robert Macready of Dublin is recorded as owning over 500 acres in county Galway in the 1870s as well as land in county Cavan. In June 1860 Robert Mecredy offered for sale over 170 acres in the barony of Castlereagh, county Roscommon, in the Landed Estates' Court. In 1911 Robert Macready accepted an offer on over 130 acres of his Galway property from the Congested Districts Board.
