Ogilvie
In 1852 William Ogilvie bought the Ironpool estate of the Jennings family in the parish of Kilconla, barony of Dunmore, county Galway and resold it in 1864 when it amounted to 814 acres. Melvin writes that Ogilvie was a grazier from Hawick on the Scottish border, who bought parts of the estates of the Jennings and Blakes of Castlegrove.
