Doolan

At the time of Griffith's Valuation, Thomas Doolan was leasing a property valued at £20 in the parish of Lickmolassy, barony of Longford, to Charles Cooper. In February 1861 Doolan's estate at Fairy Hill was offered for sale in the Landed Estates Court. It was purchased by Louis Goodbody of Clara for £1000. The property was held under lease in perpetuity from Shewbridge to Doolan, dated November 1794. Shewbridge held for the Clanricarde estate.
