| Description | Nathaniel Stewart was leasing this property from the estate of Eliza Young and Thomas Lecky at the time of Griffiths Valuation, when it was valued at £12. In 1837 Lewis referred to it as the seat of N. Stewart. It is labelled Shellfield on all editions of the Ordnance Survey maps. The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage suggests it was built in the middle of the eighteenth century. It is still extant and well maintained. |
