| Description | In the 1940s the Irish Tourist Association survey notes that a house at Shinanagh, parish of Imphrick, was occupied by Major Thomas Holmes in the early nineteenth century and known as Holmesfort. It was replaced in the 1830s by another house, built by an O'Connor family. By the 1940s it had become the home of the O'Regan family. A house and farm buildings are still extant at the site. |
