| Description | Located on the outskirts of Charleville this house was occupied by Mrs Ryan in 1837 and of Michael Ryan at the time of Griffith's Valuation. Moatville was later the birthplace of Dr Reeves, Bishop of Down, Connor and Dromore. In the 1940s the Irish Tourist Association Survey described it as "a quaint high house, the residence of Mr. Ball". It is still extant. |
