| Description | Held in fee by James Gillman at the time of Griffith's Valuation, when it was valued at £17 5s. Lewis referred to it as the seat of J. Gillman in 1837. In 1944 the Irish Tourist Association Survey refers to Oakmount as "a substantial farm dwelling". There is still an extant house at the site. |
