| Description | In 1837 Lewis describes Garranes as "a newly erected and handsome house, near the old family mansion, the residence of J. Splaine". At the time of Griffith's Valuation, it was held by James Splaine from the Duke of Devonshire's estate and valued at £28. It is still extant. |
