| Description | John Docker was leasing Achonry House from the Armstrong estate at the time of Griffith's Valuation, when it was valued at £8. McTernan states that local tradition suggests the house was built by Docker when he leased the property from the Armstrongs. It was subsequently occupied, until the 1930s, by the Gorman family. It is still extant and has recently been renovated. |
