| Description | Wilson Gun was leasing this property to Dominick Rice at the time of Griffith's Valuation, when it was valued at £16 10s. In 1837 Lewis refers to it as the seat of Dominick Rice. In 1814 Leet had recorded Dominick Rice as resident at Ballymaquin. Bary states that Bushmount was possibly built in the early years of the nineteenth century by Dominick Rice. The house is still extant and occupied. |
