| Description | Lord Monteagle was leasing this property to John Giles at the time of Griffith's Valuation, when it was valued at £8 5s, on a demesne of 123 acres, some of which extended into Ballycrispin townland. Lewis mentions, in 1837, that Ballycrispin was formerly the residence of the Spring-Rice ancestors. It is not shown on the later 25-inch Ordnance Survey map of the 1890s. |
