| Description | Leekfield was originally a Wood property which came into the Webb family through the marriage of Sarah Wood to Daniel Webb Webber. It is recorded as his residence in 1814. McTernan notes that the Webber estate, including Leekfield House and demesne lands, was offered for sale by Charles Tankerville Webber in the 1890s. Leekfield was acquired by Michael Higgins, who had been the agent for the Webber estate. It was demolished in the 1960s. |
